Ian Sneller FRICS

Ian started his professional career in the City of London in 1977 after leaving University. Since joining the family business in 1988 he has been involved with every aspect of its management and has put his hand to just about everything. 

Ian is responsible for assisting with the management of the company as well as specific client work along with building new relationships and creating new business. Ian is also a RICS Registered Valuer. 

Ian has had a passion for skiing for over 40 years and he also enjoys anything aquatic including sailing, windsurfing and boating generally. Spending time with his family is important to him, with his 5 children mostly now grown up.

Keval Pankhania FRICS

Prior to joining Snellers, Keval has worked for Trilogie CRE, Cushman & Wakefield, Dearle & Henderson and Watts and Partners. 

During that time he acted for a number of blue-chip corporates, including leading a team of dilapidations surveyors consolidating circa 40 of Balfour Beatty’s offices and warehouses across the UK in 2013/2014. 

He also achieved a saving in excess of 80% on a multi-million pound dilapidations claim (on behalf of a Tenant) in Aberdeen with very onerous Lease obligations (the Tenant had been in occupation for over 30 years). 

Keval was also short listed for the Estates Gazette Young Property Professional of the Year Award in 2011. 

Alongside managing the day to day running of the business Keval is responsible for business development across the entire firm and more specifically advising clients on a variety of Building Surveying/Project Management instructions. 

Keval’s specialisms include advising both Landlords and Tenants on dilapidations/exit strategies and refurbishment/alteration projects on all property types.    

He enjoys the challenge of keeping fit by attending spin classes and likes to ski, as well as grabbing any socialising opportunities to balance a busy work and family life.

Scott Helyer MRICS

With nearly 30 years of experience in the property industry, Scott has advised clients on all aspects of commercial property, including investment, development, and asset management.

He has worked across all property sectors and, in recent years, has been involved with mixed-use, land, residential, and development deals.Prior to joining Snellers, Scott served as an Investment Director at Montreaux, where he managed joint venture projects and land sales and purchases. His diverse Client base ranges from institutions and Property Companies to Blue Chip Corporates and High-Net-Worth individuals.

As a busy dad of three, Scott loves coaching his son's football team and driving his two daughters to dance competitions around the country. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking, socializing, playing tennis, and staying fit.

Prior to joining Snellers in 2007, Michael worked for two firms of Chartered Surveyors in Wimbledon and Epsom, dealing with a variety of commercial property matters with an emphasis on estate management.

Michael has over 20 years’ experience in the industry and as such there are few problems that he hasn’t faced and successfully overcome on behalf of his clients. 

Michael oversees the commercial property management department and deals with tightly scheduled rent collections, site inspections, arranging building repairs and addressing maintenance issues and tenant liaison. He also undertakes RICS valuations as a RICS Registered Valuer and negotiates rent reviews and lease renewals.   

One of Michael’s biggest strengths is how he builds relationships and maintains close contact with clients.

Michael enjoys walking, the beautiful outdoors and playing hockey.

Chhaya Pankhania MSc MRICS

Chhaya joined Snellers in 2011 and previously worked for a large multidisciplinary property company in East Kent undertaking valuation, development and landlord & tenant work.

Her claim to fame (apart from working at Snellers) was appearing on the television show 'Homes under the Hammer'. She provided valuation advice on a property purchased at auction. 

Chhaya is responsible for undertaking RICS Red Book Commercial and Residential Valuations, Commercial Lease Renewals & Rent Reviews and Residential Lease Extensions & Enfranchisement work. She has over 10 years’ experience in her field and is also a RICS Registered Valuer. 

Outside of work, she juggles family life with trying to keep fit and enjoys skiing whenever she gets the chance.

Andrew Haigh MRICS

Andrew spent fifteen years working as a chartered surveyor in the City of London, for a general practice firm of surveyors, before joining the Valuation and Professional team as an Associate Director.

He has acted for both public and private sector clients and most notably worked on the estate management contract for the London Fire Brigade.

Andrew is a RICS registered valuer and undertakes red book valuations as well as landlord and tenant work and lease enfranchisement advice.

In his spare time Andrew is a keen runner and cyclist, which he fits in around spending time with his family.

Greg Michail FRICS

Greg’s experience dates back more decades than he cares to remember. He started his professional career with a major firm of West End surveyors before passing through asset management for a substantial pension fund and then as a Partner dealing with all property aspects for a major off licence group including sales and leasebacks, rent reviews and renewals, and group acquisitions.

He advises a number of national clients including multiple retailers and charities on property acquisition, rent review and lease renewal issues, business rates, and Valuation for all purposes from company accounts to commercial mortgage including significant work on behalf of barristers within the Inns of Court. Greg has worked with a good proportion of his clients for over twenty years and enjoys the close business relationships that develop over an extended period.

Outside of the office, Greg enjoys exploring the delights of Middle Eastern and Oriental cuisine, travelling to far off places and occasionally picking up a paint brush from time to time for the sake of home maintenance.

Tom Parker MRICS

Prior to joining Snellers, Tom has worked for APS Chartered Surveyors, Rider Levett Bucknall, Quartz Project Services and Cogent BC.  

During that time, he acted for a diverse range of investment funds, asset managers, blue chip corporate and high net worth individuals.  

Tom is an MRICS qualified Chartered Building Surveyor with over 15 years industry experience across commercial, industrial, retail and residential sectors. He brings with him a wealth of experience across a full range of both professional and project related building consultancy services.  

Tom’s specialisms include Project Management/Contract Administration of works of alteration/refurbishment to existing buildings, providing strategic dilapidations advice to both Landlords and Tenants, defect diagnosis and neighbourly matters.  

Outside of the work environment Tom tries to keep fit and active playing 5/7-a-side football during the week and tennis at weekends. With a keen interest in travel Tom also enjoy seeking out new holiday destinations to escape from the British winter.

Sharon Bastion AssocRICS

Sharon joined Snellers in 1996 and has been part of the commercial agency team since 2007. She has successfully achieved her RICS Associate qualification, following 8 years of experience in Commercial Agency.

Sharon takes responsibility for the disposal (sales and lettings) and acquisition of various types of commercial property, specializing in the retail market. Sharon deals with a high volume of transactions, and in 2014 alone she completed the successful disposal of over 50 properties. Sharon also acts for clients in negotiating rent reviews and lease renewals of retail premises. 

Away from the office, Sharon enjoys spending time with her 3 grandchildren and if they have not worn her out, she will be either at the gym, attending music festivals or Salsa dancing.

Crispin joined the company as a consultant following the acquisition of Martin Campbell Commercial in July 2024. Crispin worked in the City and East London for Bairstow Eves and Strettons before moving to Gascoigne Pees Guildford Commercial Department in 1985. He has been involved in the local commercial property market ever since, becoming a partner in Martin Campbell in 1991.

With a special focus on established clients, Crispin is involved with a broad range of acquisitions and disposals of commercial premises including residential and student housing development schemes.

In his spare time Crispin is a fanatical motorcyclist touring the world and teaching advanced techniques on the road and race tracks.

James joined the company as a consultant following the acquisition of Martin Campbell Commercial in July 2024. James qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1979 whilst working with Conrad Ritblat & Co in Central London.

He became a partner in Martin Campbell in 1991 specialising in commercial rent reviews and lease renewals as well as advising and undertaking general agency work on behalf of established clients, both landlords and tenants.

He keeps fit to ensure he can enjoy skiing and help tend his wife’s allotment otherwise you will find him on stage playing bass guitar in a band.

Murray joined the company as a consultant following his retirement from a well-known west London private practice. In his long career he has built up considerable expertise in rent review and lease renewal negotiations and property valuation in general.

As a result, he is regularly appointed by the RICS as an Arbitrator or an Independent Expert in rent review and valuation disputes.

In addition to a busy family and social life Murray is a keen swimmer, skier and walker.

Simon has been with Snellers since 2010 and is responsible for proactively and reactively managing around 50 properties / estates of various sizes. He is an experienced property manager and provides an excellent service to his clients. 

In his spare time, Simon enjoys keeping fit by boxing and regularly attending the gym as well as socialising with friends and spending time with family.

Previously Kimberley worked as a PA at an events agency.

Kimberley is the Personal Assistant to the Managing Director and she also provides support to the wider Building Surveying Department.

In addition, Kimberley undertakes other day to day office management duties. In her spare time Kimberley enjoys cooking, socialising with friends and family and regularly travels to new places.
