Ian Sneller BSc (Hons), FRICS

Ian started his professional career in the City of London in 1977 after leaving University. Since joining the family business in 1988 he has been involved with every aspect of its management and has put his hand to just about everything.  

Ian is responsible for assisting with the management of the company as well as specific client work along with building new relationships and creating new business. Ian is also a RICS Registered Valuer.  

Ian has had a passion for skiing for over 40 years and he also enjoys anything aquatic including sailing, windsurfing and boating generally. Spending time with his family is important to him, with his 5 children mostly now grown up.

Keval Pankhania BSc (Hons) MRICS

Prior to joining Snellers in 2014, Keval has worked for Trilogie CRE, Cushman & Wakefield, Dearle & Henderson and Watts and Partners.  

During that time he acted for a number of blue-chip corporates, including leading a team of dilapidations surveyors consolidating circa 40 of Balfour Beatty’s offices and warehouses across the UK in 2013/2014.  

He also achieved a saving in excess of 80% on a multi million pound dilapidations claim (on behalf of a Tenant) in Aberdeen with very onerous Lease obligations (the Tenant had been in occupation for over 30 years).  

Keval was also short listed for the Estates Gazette Young Property Professional of the Year Award in 2011.  

Alongside managing the day to day running of the business Keval is responsible for business development across the entire firm and more specifically advising clients on a variety of Building Surveying/Project Management instructions.  

Keval’s specialisms include advising both Landlords and Tenants on dilapidations/exit strategies and refurbishment/alteration projects on all property types.    

He enjoys the challenge of keeping fit by attending spin classes and likes to ski, as well as grabbing any socialising opportunities to balance a busy work and family life.

Michael Parker BSc MRICS

One of Michael’s biggest strengths is how he builds relationships and maintains close contact with clients. Prior to joining Snellers in 2007, he worked for two firms of Chartered Surveyors in Wimbledon and Epsom, dealing with a variety of commercial property matters with an emphasis on estate management. Michael has over 20 years experience in the industry and as such there are few problems that he hasn’t faced and successfully overcome on behalf of his clients.  

Michael oversees the commercial property management department and deals with tightly scheduled rent collections, site inspections, arranging building repairs and addressing maintenance issues and tenant liaison. He also undertakes RICS valuations as a RICS Registered Valuer and negotiates rent reviews and lease renewals.    

Michael enjoys walking, the beautiful outdoors and playing hockey.

Chhaya Pankhania MSc MRICS

Chhaya joined Snellers in 2011 and is responsible for undertaking RICS Red Book Commercial and Residential Valuations, Commercial Lease Renewals & Rent Reviews and Residential Lease Extensions & Enfranchisement work. Chhaya has over 8 years experience in her field and is also a RICS Registered Valuer.  

Previously, Chhaya worked for a large multidisciplinary property company in East Kent undertaking valuation, development and landlord & tenant work. Chhaya’s claim to fame (apart from working at Snellers) was appearing on the television show 'Homes under the Hammer'. She provided valuation advice on a property purchased at auction.  

Outside of work, Chhaya juggles family life with trying to keep fit and she enjoys skiing whenever she gets the chance.

Andrew Watson BSC (HONS) MRICS

Andrew has over 16 years of Building Surveying experience representing a broad range of clients within the residential, commercial and retail sectors in the United Kingdom.  

He has a varied experience to date that has enabled him to have worked with a considerable number of clients which include Local Authorities, National House Builders, Logistic Companies and Large Blue Chip companies.  

Andrew Specialises in Project Management and has managed projects from 40,000 sq ft CAT B office fit out through to £10 million Production Facility new build. He has a vast experience in leading the client project team through projects from inception through to completion, with responsibilities also including managing and coordinating sub-consultants such as Architects, Structural Engineers, Mechanical and Electrical Engineers and Environmental Consultants.  

His extensive experience also includes Condition Surveys, Corporate Acquisition Surveys through to Dilapidations Surveys for large Blue Chip clients.  

Away from work Andrew is a dedicated family man and enjoys swimming with his two daughters and wife. Where possible he also enjoys a game of golf, weather permitting.  

Matt Walters MSc MRICS

Following a successful number of years working in the West End of London where he qualified as a Chartered Surveyor, Matt joined Snellers at the beginning of 2014 to oversee the Commercial Agency Department. He has a proactive attitude and provides honest, transparent advice to his clients.  

His work includes the disposal (sales and lettings) and acquisition of offices, industrial buildings and development sites. He also undertakes RICS valuations, rent reviews and lease renewals as well as providing clients with advice on property strategy.    

Matt spends as much of his spare time as possible with family and friends, when not taking them on adventures in his beloved VW Camper van, or enthusiastically attempting D.I.Y.

Marta joined Snellers at the beginning of 2015 to oversee the Residential Block Management department. She is a great leader who confidently supports and motivates the team, co-ordinates all legal proceedings and works on growing the business. She also takes overall responsibility for the managed portfolio of residential blocks.  

Marta’s previous experience as Project and Property Manager, included project delivery and systems implementation for large financial organisations.   

Marta balances home life with sharpening her already excellent cooking and baking skills, and when time allows, is also a keen runner.

Sharon joined Snellers in 1996 and has been part of the commercial agency team since 2007.  She has successfully achieved her RICS Associate qualification, following 8 years of experience in Commercial Agency  

Sharon takes responsibility for the disposal (sales and lettings) and acquisition of various types of commercial property, specializing in the retail market. Sharon deals with a high volume of transactions, and in 2014 alone she completed the successful disposal of over 50 properties. Sharon also acts for clients in negotiating rent reviews and lease renewals of retail premises.  

Away from the office, Sharon enjoys spending time with her 3 grandchildren and if they have not worn her out, she will be either at the gym, attending music festivals or Salsa dancing.

Simon has been with Snellers since 2010 and is responsible for proactively and reactively managing around 50 properties / estates of various sizes. He is an experienced property manager and provides an excellent service to his clients.  

In his spare time, Simon enjoys keeping fit by boxing and regularly attending the gym as well as socialising with friends and spending time with family.

Gareth joined the Residential Block Management team at Snellers in the summer of 2015 and is responsible for the management of a number of different blocks in the area. Gareth’s previous experience as both a Project Manager and as a House Condition Survey Manager makes him a highly valuable member of the team.

In his spare time, Gareth enjoys the going to the cinema and to live music performances, and, when his work commitments allow him, he is an enthusiast of craft beers and real ales.

Radhika joined the Residential Block Management team at Snellers in 2017 and is responsible for the management of a number of different blocks in the area. Radhika worked as a Lettings Manager and then moved in to Property Management.

Pamela joined the Residential Block Management team at Snellers in 2017, and is responsible for the management of a number of different blocks in the area. Pamela has previous experience in Social Housing and Private Management.  

In her spare time Pamela enjoys cooking for her family and friends . She is very family oriented and has always supported her children in their sports and interests. Pamela also enjoys gardening and good wine.

As Office Manager for Sneller Commercial and Sneller Property Consultants, Julie has an extensive list of duties that keeps things running smoothly.  

Prior to joining Snellers Julie spent 30 years at the BBC working in BBC Worldwide, Radio Five Live and co-ordinating Audience Services.  

In her spare time, Julie enjoys the Arts, particularly theatre and galleries. She also loves football, but we can’t say which team.

David joined Snellers in 1997 and is responsible for the management of the Accounts department. His work includes dealing with rent and service charge collection, accounting and Landlord & Tenant Act issues.  

David is a supporter of Fairtrade, is a Tearfund charity volunteer and Church Council member. David also enjoys walking and is a keen football fan.

Since completing his LLB (Hons) With Business Management in Southampton, James has spent the last 10 years working within accounts departments of companies, including Sodexho (Catering and Hospitality at both Sandown and Ascot Racecourses), Highflyer Productions (producing the Channel 4 Horse Racing and Morning Line TV shows), and most recently with sQuidcard Ltd. (ePayments and Online Finance within the Education Sector).

In his spare time, James enjoys playing acoustic and bass guitars, playing the occasional game of golf, and when time permits he loves snowboarding and rock climbing. For the last few years James has also taken up powerlifting. James is a dedicated family man and enjoys doing a lot of weekend activities with both of his children.

Tom works within the Valuation Department undertaking and assisting in a range of valuation work that includes commercial and residential valuations for secured lending purposes, development valuations, investment valuations and reinstatement cost assessments for insurance purposes. Tom’s work further extends to commercial Landlord & Tenant matters and Leasehold Reform valuations. 

Tom also forms a part of the Property Management team, where he is responsible for the day-to-day management of residential properties let on AST’s.  

In his spare time Tom is a keen sports fan, both watching and playing, however equally likes to off-set that with a good bottle of wine.

Prior to Carrie joining Snellers at the beginning of 2016, she worked for 2 years in property management, doing so as an apprentice. During her time there she obtained a level 2 and level 3 Diploma in business and admin for Property Services.  

In her spare time she plays many different instruments, collects anything Disney and undertakes volunteer design work for an adult counselling service.

Greg’s experience dates back more decades than he cares to remember. He started his professional career with a major firm of West End surveyors before passing through asset management for a substantial pension fund and then as a Partner dealing with all property aspects for a major off licence group including sales and leasebacks, rent reviews and renewals, and group acquisitions.

He advises a number of national clients including multiple retailers and charities on property acquisition, rent review and lease renewal issues, business rates, and Valuation for all purposes from company accounts to commercial mortgage including significant work on behalf of barristers within the Inns of Court. Greg has worked with a good proportion of his Clients for over twenty years and enjoys the close business relationships that develop over an extended period.

Outside of the office, Greg enjoys exploring the delights of Middle Eastern and Oriental cuisine, travel to far off places and occasionally picking up a paint brush from time to time for the sake of home maintenance.
